This time of year is when I wear belts on a regular basis. A great belt can transform a shapeless dress or finish off an outfit instantly. I fell for the Jones belt from Sezane recently when I was making and order and it is just as gorgeous in real life. Little details make this belt so special and totally worth the price. My Sezane Jones Belt Review will share why I think this belt is a show stopper.
Sezane Jones Belt Review
The Sezane Jones belt is a vegetable tanned smooth cow hide leather belt. This dying process is chrome free and the belt is made in Portugal.
I have the smooth Heratige Chocolate colour but I would say it is more of a classic tan as opposed to chocolate. Chocolate seems like it should be a deep darker brown.
There are three sizes of this belt. 80 cms, 90 cms and 100 cm sizes. I got the largest size which seems to sell out the quickest every time.
What drew me to this belt is the shape of the buckle and the contrast stitching. I like the colour too. It is a pretty universal shade of brown. It is the perfect shade of brown to pair with black or navy.
I will say the one drawback of this belt is the smooth leather is easy to scratch. The leather will age and change colour over time but you might want to make sure that you condition the leather to keep the scratches from becoming too detrimental.
This belt is going to get loads of wear this summer with dresses. For the fall I will try it out with tunic tops or my Will Jacket. Wouldn’t it look fantastic with a trench coat? This is a super classic looking belt. It will go with so many different things in your wardrobe.
What do you think of the Sezane Jones Belt review? Is this a belt you are looking to add to your closet?
