Sezane Jules Boots Review
The Sezane Jules Boots are a mid heel boot with hidden elastic panels. The toe is squared off but is closer to an almond toe than either a pointy toe or full squared toe boot.
I picked up the Jules boot in the tan colour. There is also a few sizes left in a lighter taupe suede, black suede and black leather. I love the look of the black leather option. They really remind me of these boots I still wear very often.
The heel is 2 inches. The sole is rubber making the shoes much less slippy. The interior of the boots are leather lined. I much prefer leather lined or not lined shoes as they mold to your foot as you break them in.
Size wise the Jules boot does not come in half sizes. I would take a look at the European conversion of the sizes before you choose what size you prefer. I picked the US 9 which is larger than I usually would pick. I am closer to an 8/8.5. In other Italian made shoes I am always an 8.5. The Sezane suggestions on sizing are usually spot on. They suggest to size up if you are between sizes which is exactly what I did.
These boots are comfortable and lots of room for my wide feet. The only issue I have with these boots is I really wish they had a pull tab at the back to make them easier to get on my feet. I do find the elastic panels really allow for easy access but I seem to struggle about half way through getting them on without something to grab onto as I am putting them on my feet.
If you are looking for a classic boot that isn’t too pointed but still sleek this is a great option. Also a great option if you aren’t a fan of contrasting elastic these have concealed elastic giving a seamless look.
