Sezane knitwear runs from chunky stripes to delicate intricate details. The Kethy jumper is on the delicate details end of the spectrum. This soft silky knit is a great substitute for blouses when it is cold outside and you need to layer up. This Sezane Kethy Jumper review will share why this knit is on high rotation in my wardrobe.
Sezane Kethy Jumper Review
The Kethy sweater from Sezane is a wool and kid mohair mix. It has crochet details at the neck and to a lesser extent the sleeve cuffs and hem.
These crochet details give the sweater a lacey and daintier look than some of Sezane’s other sweaters.
The sleeves are slightly ballooned. Not as dramatic as the Mickey though.
There is a slit at the back and two buttons. This completes the delicate neckline in my opinion. It does not impede just pulling the knit over your head to put on. I do not have to undo the buttons every time I put on this sweater.
Size wise I got an extra large. I go between ordering a large and extra large in Sezane sweaters depending on how they fit and if I want a slouchy relaxed feel or not.
This sweater fits slim through the body. I would not have wanted a large in this sweater. The sizing recommendations from Sezane is that if you are between two sizes pick the size above. It fits lovely but I do not have lots of extra fabric through the torso like I do with the Emile cardigan.
I have paired the Kethy sweater with my current favourite trouser jeans and the James coat. What I like about this sweater is that it can be worn with jeans but it also pairs well with more professional trousers as well without dressing everything down.
I don’t really wear blouses until the temperatures warm up again but this sweater gives that blousey feel without sacrificing warmth.
The Kethy comes in two colours at the moment. There is a navy option and I am wearing the red. Note that this red is more of an orangey red not a blue red.
What do you think of the Sezane Kethy jumper review? Is this a sweater you are looking at?
It is one that I wear weekly to the office and really has gotten quite a bit of wear since picking it up late last year.
