The Lenny Low Mules from Sezane are a sandal that looks quite a bit like another sandal you might know. But the chic factor has been dialed up. These flat sandals are a great option if you are looking for an easy, comfortable sandal that doesn’t sacrifice style. This Sezane Lenny Low Mules review will share why I am reaching for these sandals no matter the outfit.
Sezane Lenny Low Mules Review
The Sezane Lenny Low Mules look similar to a classic Birkenstock sandal with the molded footbed and adjustable double straps. But they are so much prettier! The soft leather is luxurious on the skin. The gold buckles look so much chicer.
These sandals come in the black I have, a brown natural leather and a khaki python snake print.
These minimalist sandals somehow don’t feel simple and boring. And even though there is no heel there is a 1.5 cm in lift due to the foot bed. Which is nice because I find the really flat leather sandals not supportive enough to walk in these days. A bit of a heel (like these) or a platform is necessary.
Size wise I went with a 9. There are no half sizes in Sezane shoes so I always size up to the 9.
There isn’t much break in time with these sandals either. The smooth leather makes them comfortable right out of the box. That said I did have some rubbing on the top of my small toes the first few wears. Nothing that produced a blister but I don’t walk for long distances in these sandals.
Overall I really like the look of these sandals. Somehow chunky and sleek at the same time. The chunky gold buckles finish off the look for a fashion forward sandal that I want to wear with jeans, cutoffs, even dresses.
If you are looking for a great easy on and off sandal that looks good you need to look at the Lenny Low Mule.
