The Leon Jumper is a mohair and merino wool mix sweater with a button front design. Soft, lightweight and warm this sweater is one that you can easily mix and match into your wardrobe. This Sezane Leon Jumper Review will share why I expect to get quite a bit of wear out of this sweater.
Sezane Leon Jumper Review
The Sezane Leon sweater is a button front popover style. It sits shorter in the body without being a super cropped style and the wool mix is merino and mohair making the sweater soft and lightweight. It is also not very bulky which is great for layering in the winter months.
The mottled pink colour I have is getting low in size options but there is a gorgeous mustard yellow, an orangey red and two shades of green. There is even classic black.
I took an XL in this style. Sezane says to take your usual size which means this doesn’t fit oversized, however it isn’t fitted either. I could have done a large and eliminated some of the extra fabric through the torso. But if you want a relaxed fit stick with your usual size.
The sleeve is a slight balloon raglan sleeve. The balloon style does add a bit more feminine touch to an otherwise fairly basic sweater.
What makes this sweater special is the colour range and the soft warm feel. When I put the Leon sweater on I was surprised that I instantly gave it a higher ranking than on looks alone. It isn’t bulky like some of my other Sezane sweaters (like the James sweater). It will be much easier to layer with winter coats without having to worry if it is too bulky for certain coats.
The Sezane Leon jumper is a great basic to have in your closet. It would be one that you could have in a classic black and have in a fun colour too. I bought the mottled pink Leon to wear with a pair of rust coloured corduroy trousers. I am so glad I did because not only does it look fantastic with those trousers, but I will wear it with other work trousers and jeans too.
What do you think of the Sezane Leon Jumper Review? Is this a sweater you want in your closet?
