The Lola Bucket Bag from Sezane is one of their newer styles. They were teasing this bag in their marketing for months before it dropped on the site and it didn’t take long for me to snap it up. The suede and leather combination and the bulb shape gives this bag a really unique look. This is my Sezane Lola Bucket Bag Review.
Sezane Lola Bucket Bag Review
The Sezane Bucket Bag is a made in Italy suede and leather bag. It comes in the brown and multicolour python as well as a tone on tone pink and a tone on tone green.
This bag has no zip but closes with a leather tie that cinches the top closed. It isn’t the easiest to close fully. Even when I cinch the bag as much as I could it didn’t fully close. The bag is lined with cotton and has one small pocket.
The leather handle is not adjustable. It can be carried on the shoulder, crook of the arm or in the hand. I will say though over the shoulder is not the easiest or most comfortable. It would be more natural with fewer layers.
At first glance this bag seems a bit impractical and small. But I can fit more in this bag than my Victor bag. I can fit a full sized wallet, phone, sunglasses and other items. It isn’t a very secure bag however as there is no zip and the leather cinch doesn’t fully close. That said if it is fully cinched it would be hard to get an adult hand in the bag and actually pull something out.
I think this is a gorgeous bag. It has a unique look that you won’t see everywhere. But it isn’t going to replace an every day bag for me mostly because I love a cross body strap. I regularly leave my purse unzipped but I do prefer the option of having it zip up. I do really love the suede and leather snake contrast. I think it will look fantastic with a classic trench coat.
