The Sezane Max shirt is an oversized cotton button down shirt. This style varies from denim to classic white to stripes. Sharing what sets this oversized shirt apart from cheap and cheerful options. This is my Sezane Max Shirt Review.
Sezane Max Shirt Review
I have the Sezane Max shirt in the Blue Ecru Burgundy stripes version. I got this to replace a linen shirt with similar stripes that always came out of the dryer more wrinkled than it went in. Something in the spin cycle must have permanently wrinkled the sleeves. But I digress.
This is about the Sezane Max shirt, Sezane’s oversized organic cotton button down.
I got this shirt in a size 14. I didn’t want the shirt to be too small in the bust or to not actually look oversized. So I went with my larger of the Sezane sizes I wear. I should have taken the US12. I have so much volume in this shirt. It is very oversized. You don’t have to worry about it not being oversized. This isn’t a shirt that is only oversized on slim people it is oversized period.
I hope you can get an idea of the width of the shirt from the picture with my arms out. With my arms to the size you don’t really get the full effect of how loose this shirt is. Sizes go up to a US 16 but I would say that since this shirt is quite oversized it would fit at least a size 18 or even 20.
Other details to note on this shirt is the hem; it is slightly longer at the back than at the front. There is one chest pocket. I also find the weight of this shirt more substantial than say a shirt from H&M or even the Gap. There is a thickness that exudes a better quality. These little things are what set this shirt aside from the cheaper options.
I do really like how this shirt looks tied. That is the beauty of lots of extra fabric it can be tied without becoming uncomfortable.
I find there is quite a bit of fabric for me to tuck this shirt and I tend to wear these shirts loose most of the time.
What do you think of the Sezane Max Shirt Review? Is this a shirt you have on your wishlist?
