The Sezane Micky Jumper has a high button neckline and balloon sleeve detail. This wool and mohair sweater is lightweight and much less bulky than it might look. Sharing my Sezane Micky Jumper review.
Sezane Micky Jumper Review
The Sezane Micky Jumper is a wool and mohair mix with long balloon sleeves. There is also button front high neckline.
This season the sweater comes in the cream colour shown here and a yellow. Last year there was a brown and olive version.
The beaded rib knit gives a vertical stripe look to the knitwear. Feel wise this sweater reminds me of the Scarlett jumper I got last year or this cardigan. What I love about these knits is they are very warm, but they feel really light and airy on. Unlike my James jumper which is a chunkier knit this sweater is actually thinner than it looks.
The button placket is knit a bit tighter than the rest of the sweater making it stand out from the rest of the sweater. When the neckline is fully buttoned it is like a turtleneck. I like the versatility of being able to choose between buttoned and unbuttoned but I prefer it unbuttoned at least one button. It just feels more comfortable that way.
I love the balloon sleeve detail on this sweater. It is more pronounced than on this sweater I bought last year. I prefer the balloon sleeve to a bell sleeve. The tighter cuff keeps in all the warmth which is perfect for cold winters.
Size wise I chose the extra large. Usually I prefer size large for Sezane sweaters but the sizing advice said to size up if you are between sizes. This is Sezane code for this sweater fits small so if you want a relaxed fit to choose the larger size. I am happy with this sizing. I wish I had of listened to this advice for the Lucas sweater but ultimately I prefer this sweater because of the wool mohair mix.
What do you think of the Micky sweater? Is this one that you would like to try?
