Sezane Otis Jumper Review

The Otis jumper from Sezane is an alpaca knit that comes in a few neutral shades. It has replaced an older grey alpaca sweater in my wardrobe because I think the shape of this one is superior and some of the details make it super special. Sharing my Sezane Otis Jumper Review below.

Sezane Otis Jumper Review

The Sezane Otis Jumper is an alpaca mock neck knit with twist cable detailing on the neck, cuff and hem of the sweater.

I originally fell for alpaca wool when Everlane launched their Alpaca sweaters some years ago. In fact I bought the Otis to replace a similar light grey knit I had from Everlane. My issue with the Everlane one is that it has always felt mis-sized to me, especially since I also had the same sweater in dark grey and it was significantly roomier. When I saw the Otis I decided I would try it as a replacement option.

The Otis jumper is exactly what I wanted. A bit looser silhouette that feels relaxed and a bit feminine at the same time. It is something Sezane does well. The twist cable detail adds visual interest to an otherwise fairly basic knit.

This sweater is super soft and lightweight. This is one of my favourite things about alpaca wool is that it is so light and still very warm. The softness also gives cashmere a run for it’s money.

While I love a higher neckline I will say that this one is snug. Not tight but it does fit flush up against the neck. If you prefer a looser turtleneck that is high but not flush up against your skin this might not be for you. That said I do find the neck stretches out a bit with wear and doesn’t bother me as much as when I first tried this sweater on.
