I like wearing scarves three of the four seasons in Canada. It is too hot in the summer but the rest of the year there is lots of time for scarves. However during the shoulder seasons it may be too warm for a thick fluffy blanket scarf. This is where thin wool scarves like the Pio come in handy. Less bulk but still warm for chilly mornings. Sharing my Sezane Pio Scarf Review to see for yourself how versatile this type of scarf can be in your wardrobe.
Sezane Pio Scarf Review:
The Sezane Pio Scarf is a large square wool scarf. It is a thin weave wool which makes this scarf great for wearing in the shoulder months with trench coats. Or warmer winter days when temperatures are just positive.
Because these scarves are thin I find them great for travel too. They don’t take up much space in luggage but you have a scarf if you need it. I have found myself on a sightseeing boat tour where a scarf like this came in handy as the further we got from shore the colder I felt.
I don’t know why I think this but I find the chunkier scarves more youthful and these thinner scarves come off as more mature. Maybe because these bare more resemblance to say a silk scarf? I think it is just me. Because lets face it a scarf finishes off an outfit and being warm is not just for older women.
The Pio scarf comes in a number of colourways but they sell out very fast. My colour is already sold out. But there are a few still available. Most of the styles seem to have a floral pattern.
You can find Sezane scarves on resale sites so always watch there as well.
Overall if you are looking for a lightweight scarf that will add elegance and colour to your outfit this is a great option. I think it will look fantastic with trench coats especially.
