The Scarlett Jumper from Sezane is a fancy knit wool and mohair mix sweater. It has a light and fluffy texture but is warmer than you think it will be. Long and slightly puffed sleeves add an air of femininity. This Sezane Scarlett Jumper Review will share why I think this might be my favourite Sezane sweater yet.
Sezane Scarlett Jumper Review
The Sezane Scarlett Jumper comes in multiple colours. Camel, pink, purple and the white that I have.
The knit is a mix of wool and mohair. The effect is a soft and light sweater that is super warm even though the fancy knit is quite open. I find the feel of the sweater is similar to the Everlane Alpaca sweaters. Maybe slightly itchier but with much more detail to the knit. I also think this sweater has a fluffier look.
The sleeves have an extra long cuff and slightly puffed look. The knit gives a cable knit look but up close is much prettier than just your regular cable knit.
The neck is a crew neck style but it is a fairly high crewneck. Not a mock neck but it isn’t very open. If you are layering keep this in mind.
The Scarlett jumper is very similar to this cardigan I reviewed earlier. It has a similar fancy knit and puff sleeve. I think this one would be even closer to the Scarlett only in a cardigan style.
Size wise I chose a large. On the Sezane size chart I fall on the large to extra large range. However I find that with their knitwear a large is a better size for me. This is consistent with their size recommendations which suggests if you are between sizes choose the size below. The large is still a relaxed fit. Definitely doesn’t fit too tight or snug anywhere. If you prefer a slim fit I would size down. Size up for something really oversized.
So why do I like this sweater more than the others I have from Sezane? This style is lighter and thinner than some other styles like this . The fancy knit is also really pretty. I think it really just boils down to it being a pretty update to a classic cable knit sweater. I also prefer a thin knit that still packs a punch against the cold. I also prefer a crew neck to a cardigan, although both have a time and a place.
I can’t wait to wear this sweater with a plaid top layered underneath for the Holidays. It would also be super pretty to wear with a skirt too. What do you think of the Sezane Scarlett Jumper review? Is this a sweater you want to try?
