Sezane’s Will jacket is somewhere between a denim shirt and a jean jacket. It is one of those core items in the Sezane lineup that sells out and is replenished year after year. It has even inspired different variations like the Willa and the Denis jackets. This is the perfect throw over layer to provide a bit more polish than an fatigue jacket or traditional jean jacket but not as stuffy as a trench coat. Sezane Will Jacket Review
The Sezane Will jacket comes in a variety of colours and patterns. The denim (two shades), khaki and camel ones seem to be the core colours but there are other options like leopard and pink this year.
The Will jacket is a shacket style that is a hybrid between a denim shirt and a jacket. It is a bit of a feminine riff on the chore jacket.
It features two deep side pockets and button closure at the front and sleeves.
The weight of the Will jacket is heavier than just a denim shirt. It does have elastane mixed into the composition so there is some stretch. What I like about the weight of this jacket is the structure it provides.
Size wise I took an XL which according to the Sezane size chart is a 10-12. I would say it fits like a generous US 12 which is in line with their sizing recommendations. Take your usual size if you want it to be roomy. Size down for a more fitted look.
I like that there are no pockets on the boobs. I do not need pockets there. I never put things in pockets there. The deep pocket at hip level on the other hand is not only aesthetically pleasing it is super useful. If you are into patch pockets on the chest check out the Willa Style.
Personally I think this jacket looks more polished than a field jacket or fatigue jacket. It looks more polished that your light wash denim jacket too. A trench coat would be more professional looking so it is somewhere in between when it comes to spring jackets.

Hi! Do you still love your will jacket? Are you a US size 12 and typically wear a Xl? Trying to figure out my size

To be honest I don't wear it as much as I thought I would. I think I would have preferred the khaki green or another colour. I feel like because I like to wear dark denim that it is too much denim on denim look. I typically wear a large or extra large depending on the brand. I think it depends if you want the Will to be more of a shirt or a jacket. If you want it as a jacket and to be able to layer underneath I would get the XL. It does fit loose on me.
