After living through a heat wave while our air conditioner was broken, we now have a working air conditioner and the hot sweaty temperatures have disappeared. We are back to more Spring like temps and I couldn’t be happier. It means I can put together outfits with layers and not feel like I am melting. Like all of my outfits there is a mixture of old an new. The grey suede jacket is one of my favourites for the past few years. I pull it out all the time for the transition seasons because it layers so well.
My stripe button down is another style I enjoy. I have a few of these blouses in my closet in different colours. My bag is also old but is the one bag that I always get compliments on when I wear it even though this style isn’t as popular as it once was.
My black jeans are one of the new items. I was frustrated with some of my older jeans recently and decided to purge what wasn’t working for me anymore. I find that skinny jeans don’t really age the same was as true denim and after a while even if they are the same size they just don’t look as good anymore. Like the stretch has worn out or something. Either way I tried out two pairs of these jeans, one in the black above and one in the rinse. Man do these hold me in in all the right places. I tried these jeans years ago but didn’t like the cut. Now with the higher rise they are so fantastic.
I thought that I should share an outfit wearing the MGEMI Felize flats since I just shared my review. I have worn them to work and on the weekends and they are fantastic either way. I love how they are a bright pop of colour with this otherwise grey outfit.
Outfit details: Grey suede biker jacket Mango (old but this is similar), stripe shirt Banana Republic (same style, or similar stripe), jeans JCREW, bag Alexander Wang, loafers MGEMI.
