If you have been following this website for some time you might have realized by now I love shopping a deal.
Of course I mean finding something I love on sale, or a special coupon code, not shopping the sales simply to save. I want the best of both worlds.
Couponing sites are a way to track the promotions that are currently running at your favourite retailers or to find a deal on something you want somewhere else.
The vast majority of the sites I have found are American. Which is fine if I am shopping American but most of the time I find these stores have high shipping rates, duties and taxes that make it much more attractive to shop at home.
Few coupon sites are tracking Canadian retailers. Even some of the so called Canadian websites are linking to offers that are not even available to Canadian Shoppers. Enter Shopster.
Made by Canadians to serve Canadians a stream of coupons and promotions to make sure we are getting the best deals when we are shopping.
The functionality of the website is quite simple really making it easy to find a coupon for what you are shopping for. The newest deals are found on the homepage. You can search for deals at your favourite stores. Everything from JCREW to Home Depot is tracked for the latest promotions.
Shopping for a specific item? You can search by category to find a deal on what you are looking to buy.
What I like about this site is that you can sign up for their emails and eliminate probably hundreds of retailer emails daily, in just following the Shopster newsletter.
You can also sort by store if you want to eliminate all the noise of stores you just don’t care about that are listed on the front page.
Even though I am pretty familiar with what sales are going on where, sometimes I delete the email and decide to shop a few days later. Shopster is a great resource to refresh your memory as to what sales are live. Also I am not always up to date with what sales are on at stores my husband might shop or stores I don’t regularly frequent.
But ultimately what I like best about Shopster is that I know that when I see a coupon or promotion listed on their site, that I as a Canadian can 100% take advantage of that sale. Not click through and find out at the last minute that the store does not ship to Canada.
Have you tried out Shopster.ca yet?
