I hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather wasn’t all that great here but I was able to sneak in an outfit post later on, on Sunday when the sun peaked out for a while.
When I worked at my corporate job, warmer months meant skirts. I had an arsenal of them and have kept the ones that I really loved all these years later.
So many things in fashion have changed since I used to get dressed for work. One thing is how I used to pair this skirt with a simple black tee, but now pairing a chambray top with a printed skirt is the way to go.
These Pura Lopez heels were in high rotation at my office. I love the bow detail and the walkable heel. Such a contrast to the chunky 5 inch heels that are popular today. Still I love this ladylike shoe!
The one thing that I think makes this skirt extra special is the tie detail at the waist. Zara had a bunch like this at the time but that was like 5 years ago! Still I think pairing the chambray top with this black and creme printed skirt makes it feel new again.
Outfit details (Jewellery): Earings Charlize Teardrop Stella & Dot, Necklace On the Mark (it’s an arrow, too bad it was hidden!) Stella & Dot, watch Asos.
Outfit details: Chambray top JCREW Factory, Printed skirt Zara (Old, this is similar), shoes Pura Lopez (old, these are similar).
