Soludos is known for their espadrilles. There are a bunch of different styles from a wedge styles that look pretty with a dress to slip-ons with cute sayings stitched on. They also have mule styles which make for easy slip on and off access. My Soludos Pom Pom Mule review will share why this is my favourite Soludos style yet.
Soludos Pom Pom Mule Review
Soludos is known for the quintessential summer shoe. They have a range of espadrille styles from wedges, flats that tie wrapped around the ankles and a more traditional slip on style. I picked up the pom pom mule style a few years ago and they are the perfect boho style shoe to wear through the summer months.
The sizing is fairly true to size. I do find they fit narrow at first but because they are made of canvass and other natural materials they stretch with wear. I wouldn’t size up just break them in.
The Pom Pom Espadrille mule comes in three colours. Red, blue and purple. There is also a similar tassel mule. The upper is canvas and the bottom is braided jute with a rubber sole.
I tend to wear the Coco Pompom mule slide with shorts or skirts that are around the knee. I find longer maxi skirts and dresses are just too overwhelming with these slides. Skinny and slim jeans work with these mules as well.
I love that these shoes are easy to slip on and totally make an outfit. Sure you could slip on some flip flops but these have way more personality.
They don’t have any support so they aren’t something I would wear when I am walking anywhere more than to the beach or my morning commute. These shoes look cute but aren’t something you wear when you are standing on your feet all day.
If you love boho details these mules are definitely a winner. Even if you are just looking for something fun for vacation or a shoe that screams summer. You can keep the rest of your outfit pretty basic and these mules would all add the visual interest you need.
If I had to choose between the embellished espadrille mules and the Soludos knotted sandals I would choose the pom pom slide. The sandals are more supportive but the pom pom slides make me smile every time I wear them.
