Straw Bag Style

If there is one accessory that signals that temperatures are rising it is the straw bag. Sunglasses are worn year round and it doesn’t have to be sandal weather to pull off a straw bag. It does help though. Personally I have straw bags in a number of different shapes, sizes and uses. Top handles and long straps. They all serve a different purpose and look for summer. This is a straw bag style round up.

1. Alice Tote – this bag has been all over the blogsphere. And there have been plenty of dupes. But this is my favourite round bag out there.
2. Embroidered Cross Body – this seems the be the 2019 spin on the trendy circle bags from last year; add embroidery. Still the fruity detail makes this feel fresh.
3. Black summer straw bag – black is a nice change from all the natural beige we tend to see this style of bag in. Plus the handle adds an extra natural looking element. Under $50
4. Straw beach bag – the big rectangular shape is a bit different than what we usually see. Feels a bit more classic and traditional. Super affordable at under $50.
5. Straw clutch – I have seen more expensive versions of this clutch (here and here) but for only $20 this option is a great affordable dupe.
6. Open Weave Straw Bag – I really like the open weave texture on this bag. Some open weave bags are a bit more OPEN than others making them a bit of a security risk. This one isn’t that open. Also it has two strap lengths which means you don’t have to go top handle you can also carry this bag over the shoulder which is a huge plus in my books.
7. Woven Clutch bag – Love the ciao bella detail on this clutch and the half moon shape. Such a fun summer evening bag open.
8. Straw bag with resin handle – Two trends in one bag? It totally works. Go for it.
9. Woven Rattan circle bag – Ok so not technically straw but still a natural woven bag. Love these little circle bags with summer dresses.

11. Floral Straw Bucket bag – How pretty is this little floral basket bag? Great option to go with a summer dress.
12. Woven Straw Bag – kind of really like the shape of this bag and that it has true closure. This option is for someone who likes their bags more clean and classic without all the embellishment.
