Earlier this spring I was contacted by the people over at Stuck on You to try out their personalized pajamas for kids.
Stuck on You is one of those retailers (some of you moms might be familiar with a certain Canadian competitor), where you can personalize everything for your kids from lunch boxes, clothing labels, stationary and more.
While I do order clothing labels and shoe labels for all the clothing and back packs that get sent to school, I hadn’t really thought about personalized pjs or onsies or clothing in general.
But it is a great idea, especially for when kids are heading off to camp, off on sleepovers or even just up to the cottage with grandparents. It just means that that is one less thing that the kids are going to lose. And if they do lose them, they are easier to find and identify as belonging to your family.
When personalizing you can choose from a few different colours of pajamas. The summer style is shown above while the winter style has long sleeve top, with full legged bottoms. The winter style is not fleece however but cotton.
You also choose the font of the name, whether you want a design or not. It was fun playing around with all the different combinations to see how everything would turn out right in the online interface.
My kids were between sizes, so I sized up for both. They will get plenty of wear out of these pjs. If you size up you should easily get 2 years out of the pajamas.
The bottoms are a great style for sleeping with a looser weave to the cotton to allow for alot of give and comfort. The top is a stretch cotton blend with lots of length to accommodate growth spurts.
I washed the pajamas with no complaints. No noticeable shrinking and even through the labels advise against it I threw them in the dryer without any problems.
Stuck on You has so many different products to choose from for personalization. Great for camp and school, or just for a gift for that kid who has everything (even Elsa & Anna from Frozen 😉 ) This is especially true if your child’s name is not easily found in the turn-styles of personalized key chains and lunch pails.
I would definitely get these pjs again when my kids are a bit older and are being sent off to over night camp. I would love to see hoodies or baseball caps added to the personalized clothing options as these would be handy for school trips or just every day in the warmer months.
Do you order labels and personalized gear for your kids?
