Styling the Tibi Cami

When twitter calls I come running. The team at eluxe tweeted a style challenge to style the Tibi Cami that is part of their new pre-fall collection.

At first I styled it 2 ways. For an everyday casual look and then a going out look.

Then I said to myself “this is a super versatile piece”. It is colour block black and white. You could seriously wear this with everything. Floral pants, denim skirt. It is so simple yet because it is silk it makes everything that much more beautifully put together.

I have countless cotton tanks that I use for layering but this would be so much better. Sure because it is colour blocked instead of just white or cream you aren’t going to wear it under sweaters or sheer blouses, but this top can work for almost anything else. Like school, or work.

Seeing how easily a top like this goes with boyfriend jeans to party skirts and work pants it is hard to imagine why I don’t have something like this already in my closet. Hmmmmmm.
