When I first saw this summer midi skirt in at Zara I wanted it. I love the summery feel. It is one of those skirts that you will have for years and it won’t look dated.
But when I was looking there were only mediums. And when I looked online there were only mediums. After a while I began to wonder if this was a one size fits all style since the waist is elastic.
So I decided that there was no harm in trying it on and see how it would fit even though I wouldn’t usually go for a medium.
I was pleasantly surprised that this skirt actually fit! It is snug getting over my bum, but sits nicely as a high waisted style.
I would say that this skirt easily fits a ladies size 6 to size 10, with smaller sizes needing to cinch the waiste with the tie belt and larger sizes will be whether they can wiggle in comfortably.
It is a holiday Monday here in Canada; the first of the summer season. Because we have been doing so much driving lately house hunting we decided to stay at home in Toronto instead of travelling up to the cottage.
I actually really like staying in the city duing long weekends because it is so much quieter.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend – whether you were able to get away or not.

I had the EXACT same experience with this skirt! I saw it in Zara last weekend but they only had mediums and I was uncertain! Now I am kicking myself because it might have actually fit!!! You look stunning in it and with those shoes- perfection! xo Emma http://strollingthecityinheels.com

Thanks so much - you should totally try it on. I don't usually subscribe to the whole one size fits all thing but it works!
