I can almost count the days until sandals are in regular rotation. In fact we are going to get up to double digits temps today! I find myself celebrating summer coming by buying all the sandals. I thought I would share some of the shoes I have my eye on for summer.
Summer shoes trends
- Sidewalk Sneaker – these I already bought and I can say they are super comfy. The type of shoes to throw on with everything. They come in a bunch of different patterns and the footbed is super cushy. I normally get an 8.5 in Everlane shoes since they are italian made and fit quite narrow. However I wish I had of got these in an 8 as the fit is generous.
- Leopard Saturday Sneakers – yes these look very similar to the last pair of sneakers except they are LEOPARD. And I have a hard time saying no to leopard.
- Addie Slide Sandal – I love a pop of red with an outfit and these sandals just might be it for this year. I love the thin bands as something a bit different. These are high on my must have list.
- White knot sandal – I picked these up during the Shopbop sale. I love that they are moulded like a Birkenstock but the knot detail makes them more fancy.
- Cross Strap Espadrilles – Ok clearly I have a summer shoe problem because I ordered these too! I couldn’t say no to the mash up of leopard and espadrilles. I think they will be fun with basically every summer dress.
- Fringed Mule – these are this years version of my favourite pom pom espadrilles from last year (which you can still buy here, here and here). I wore these all the time last summer as they are so easy to slip on and they make every outfit summery and fun.
- Milan Block Heel Mule – So not every sandal can be a fun flat. But these have a minimal heel and would look fantastic with dresses and skirts when you want to be a bit more polished.
- Double strap block heel sandal – I was lucky to be gifted a pair of these from Everlane and I can say they are super comfy. Everlane does really walkable heels and these are no exception. The leather straps are really soft and the ankle straps are placed in my favourite spot so that they don’t cut off the leg.
