I tried to take a picture of this outfit last weekend but I did it later in the day and all I can say was the white jeans were way too washed out. So that was a #bloggerfail. This time around I took these photos first thing in the morning so I didn’t have to worry about any neighbours out and about and the white jeans show up in the photos!
I picked up this vertical stripe shirt on a flash sale at Madewell. It appears much more over-sized in person which I like for an easy breezy summer look. The first time I took the pictures I did the whole half tuck thing but I actually prefer it this way untucked. I think on a taller person the half tuck might work a bit better because I had to tuck quite a bit and then the back end was pulling a bit much.
The panama hat is a cheap thrill of a find from Joe Fresh. I already have the JCREW version but I decided to keep this one because the brim is much wider making it a more dramatic affect. The weave is tighter on the JCREW one and it fits my head better which explains the more expensive price tag but if you are looking for a fun summer hat and don’t want to spend more than $20 I would grab this Joe Fresh one! Especially if you already have one in your closet and are having a hard time justifying buying another one.
Outfit details: Panama Hat Joe Fresh, Vertical Stripe blouse Madewell, Sunglasses, Boho Bag (one of a kind I have linked to the ETSY store I bought it from), White Yoga Jeans, Blue Flats (old but same style in different colours)
