I am going to have to admit that when I bought these items part of me was thinking these would be perfect for Christmas. I don’t really do neutral for the Holidays. I wear the Christmas colours as cheesy as that may be. I feel like it is part of the festive process.

While I might put the scarf away after the Holidays I do wear the other items, albeit not together. Red will be paired with something other than green after Christmas passes. The green coat with go back to being paired with neutrals.
I was gifted this sweater from Everlane and I have to say that it is a perfect red for Christmas. It is 100% wool but super lightweight. Sometimes I find wool sweaters can be heavy even if they are warm. The turtleneck is nice and long but at the same time not constricting.
What do you think? Do you dress in traditional Christmas colours for the Holidays or do you just go with what works for whatever occasion you are attending whether it be an office party or family dinner?

I love the Christmas colours - be them cheesy or not! Last year i treated myself to a tartan scarf similar to yours and a red dress for Christmas Day. Feeling festive is what living is all about. Love reading your posts - Jill

Thanks Jill! I love wearing the Christmas colours obviously however this outfit didn't "perform" on Instagram where neutrals seem to rule the roost. I don't really care that much because I do love colour.
