Transition to spring has been rough here in Canada. We had snow and ice into April. But May so far has been lovely. That doesn’t mean however that we don’t have cool mornings and days that are below 20 degrees. It means that sandals with jackets are totally normal. Because I want to wear pretty shoes but I also don’t want to be cold. Contradictions I know!
This outfit has a few older items. The biker jacket which is from last year I reviewed here. You can still get similar jackets from the same brand and I quite like this jacket. It is super affordable and I like the fit. The jeans are Point Sur which is a JCREW brand. They are denim jeans not stretchy jeans. I did crop them myself and I like them much better like this. This particular style is not available but they seem to rotate a few styles so you can always watch for the Shorditch to come round again.
I have been using the Henri Bendel Jetsetter backpack as my spring bag. It is a convertible backpack that is great for travel but also great for the office commute. It is large enough that I can stash my lunch or even a few files in there if need be, without really being oversized. I added my Clare V crossbody strap so I can leave the backpack straps in place, but mostly I used the top handle.
The top I debated with myself to pick up. I loved the cute little tie at the neck but I really don’t need any more stripe tops. There was a time when I didn’t wear stripes at all. Now I seem to wear them exclusively. Still the tie detail was a must have.
The sandals are super cute. Who can say no to a leopard heel? They are also comfortable in that the heel is not too high and the straps go across the feet in all the right places. These sandals also come in other colours if you aren’t into leopard.
