I hope you all enjoyed your last long weekend of the summer. We spend the weekend away at the cottage and visiting old friends at the beach. It was a great get away but now back to reality.
Back to school and back to work.
I picked up these JCREW factory trousers on one of their many sales. I was hoping they would have a bit more drape but they are definitely a skinny cut. This is one of the drawbacks of shopping JCREW factory – they don’t show their clothing on models so it is harder to tell how they will actually fit.
Since it is back to school I pulled my trench coat out of storage. The overall look here has a kind of updated 1970’s vibe. The stripe t-shirt, the brown pants, just updated with a modern slimmer silhouette.
Outfit details: Trench coat MoodbyMe, multistripe t-shirt Joe Fresh, brown wool trousers JCREW factory, leopard heels Nine West

I love the 70s vibe of this outfit. I never really thought about that the J Crew factory store has all their items displayed on mannequins and not model. One of my regular blogs that I visit (gigisgoneshopping) does great reviews of both retail & factory J Crew items and i've come to depend on her reviews.
BTW, I have a weekly link up on Thursdays and hope you will join me.

Thanks Alice I will have to check it out. I should have checked out gigisgoneshopping, I have looked to her before for reviews and didn't think about that this time :(
