Valentines outfits usually involve some sort of sexy red dress or showing plenty of skin. The realities of Valentine’s Day in Canada is that it is cold.
And I am more likely to be wearing something bundled up and warm not skimpy. I mean frostbite is not something that we should aspire to.

The easiest way to dress for valentines is to wear the colours assiciated with the day. For me that is pink, red and white.

I found it really hard to find a colourful scarf this year. EVERYTHING is neutral. Everything. I love a good neutral outfit but I also really want to wear a pop of colour too. Plus bright colours look great against your face! Very few places were doing any sort of colour accessories. I found the scarf I am wearing via the outnet.

Do you dress for holidays like Valentines Day? Wear hearts or theme colours? I am partial to integrating colours but I want it to be something I can wear other times too. So I am less likely to buy a sweater with a heart but will wear green for St. Patricks Day or pink and red for Valentines.
