While this time of year is great for finding things on sale it can also be incredibly frustrating if you are looking for a wardrobe update but spring really isn’t on your horizon any time soon. Which is pretty much anyone in Canada; we can’t expect true spring for at least 2 to 3 more months.
I have had my cart filled with a number of different items that I have given up on over an over. Either the exchange is disasterous, or I missed out on free shipping, or it just seems ridiculous to spend money on something I can’t wear for months on end.
Still these are items on my radar. Not just for me, but for my kids too.
Shop the Wardrobe Update:
- Selvedge Chambray Shirt – while I have a denim shirt in my closet I am not enamored with it and as such I am always looking for a better version of what I have. One that I want to wear until it falls apart. This is a contender.
- Loeffler Randall Luz Heel – tassels were huge last year and I think that they are going to be popular again this year. I like these heels for their tassels as much as their cool girl factor.
- Birte Trench Vest – I have been on the hunt for a great trench vest for a year now. I would prefer something more traditional (cotton not some polyester version) and this is the best one I have seen yet. Plus the grey tone is something different than what I have in my closet.
- Betty Sunglasses – I live in sunglasses. While my prescription sunglasses get my most wear a really cool pair like these red ones would be so fun.
- Tie Front Pant– I could use an update to my work pants. I love the tie front detail and I love the bi-stretch wool.
- Kids New Balance – My son has gone through a growth spurt so his wardrobe update is more out of necessity than anything. These were the style I chose but he went with a bright blue pair instead.
- Classic Leather Tote in Red – I have been lusting after this tote for ages. It is simple but the colour is so good. This is a keep forever type of bag.
- Stripy Knitted Dress – I know my daughter would love this dress. It is so fun but at the same time polished.
