Fall is coming and with it is back to school. But I haven’t been back to school in ages, still it does have renewed meaning with now 2 school aged kids come September.

Still as an adult I see the Fall as a time to renew. Instead of back to school clothes and school supplies I am looking to refresh my home and my office.

We have been in our new home for a year now and the doormat at our front door is starting to look tired. I like the idea of something more personal whether it is a fun greeting or our door number or even our family initial. Really I want one of each but there is only one front door!

Perhaps having something more fun like that pineapple mat or stripes for the back door so that everyone remembers to clean their feet before coming in from the back yard. I find just as much or more dirt is tracked in from our backyard antics.
