I love a boho top. They don’t always love me back. Still I buy them because of the light cotton fabric which is cool in the summer and the details like embroidery and cutouts.
The latest one to catch my eye is this one from Madewell.
I tend to think of these boho type tops (and lets face it accessories, dresses etc) as summer clothing but the temperatures are rising and I need to inject a bit of summer into my everyday right now.
So here is how I would style this top now and later.
Boho Top/Leather/Paige Jeans/Embellished Tote/Lace up Sandals
The styling for summer is a bit more obvious. Even though these tops tend to be billowy, and less than figure flattering they are great for hot summer days. They are more cool than sexy, more beachy than chic but I would rather be laid back in the summer any day.

How do you style your boho top?

Boho tops are so cute and summery but they never look right on me. I love how you styled this for now and later. Loving those distressed shorts, booties and clutch too!

This top looks flattering (although it's on a stick figure model, so who knows IRL!) LOVE those distressed shorts! xo Emma http://strollingthecityinheels.com

Great ways to wear them! I agree I love a boho top, but only if it has a good cut. xo styleontheside.com

Yes many are really unflattering, it has to be the right style.
