So we survived the first week of school! Figured out how to get up every morning pack a lunch and manage the chilly mornings.
This fall transition weather can be tough to dress for as it is cool in the mornings but even by the walk back home after drop off can be significantly warmer.
I ordered this scarf off the Zara website site unseen. I just loved the plaid print and since there is free returns if I don’t like something I just send it back.
Obviously this worked out. The scarf was actually way bigger than I was expecting and it immediately reminded me of this pin. And to be honest I like my look better because I am just in love with this tartan.

Hi! I just came across your blog while 'researching' my own post on this scarf! I've got such grief about it since I got it ... with people asking me if I brought a blanket with me for an impromptu picnic and not seeing what a super-stylish accessory it is. I just found your blog a few weeks ago and I really enjoy reading your posts. I used to live in T.O., but I'm in the States now. I love this outfit! What a cool way to wear a scarf. I really like the beige in it and it goes so well with your jeans, boots and hat. The first photo is really perfect! I don't blog but I like to read them.
