I am often inspired by other bloggers, whether it comes to how I put my outfits together or purchasing certain items. When I saw this coatigan from H&M on Jenny of Crazy Style Love it was something I wanted right away. It has that cocoon shape that I have been really into and it isn’t lined so it can be used as a coat in the spring or fall or inside as a dressier sweater.
Black and white is a huge trend for spring. The problem I always have with it is making sure not to look like a restaurant server. Stay clear of black pants and a white blouse; too waitress-y.
I will say that this, wearing this coatigan as my only source of warmth was a bit premature. I really noticed that it wasn’t lined and the breeze was sneaking in through the knit. Maybe a denim jacket and a big scarf is still in order!
Outfit details: Coatigan H&M (similar), Black t-shirt & white Jeans GAP, booties Joe Fresh, Necklace Vintage, White Sunglasses Zara.
Linking up with Coffee Beans & Bobby Pins again this week. Check it out because my post from LAST week was featured as one of the Five! Thanks Amy 🙂

You're definitely passing on the love for this "coatigan" (is that what you called it?) Whatever it is, it's amazing!! I totally want my own! It looks so oversized and comfy but still a big statement maker. Love it! Visiting from the Whatever Works Wednesday link-up! -Jessi haircutandgeneralattitude.blogspot.com

Lol I must be the only one who picked up on the whole coatigan thing from the fall! I swear that is what they call it :)

OMG that sweater looks soooooo comfy! I hate to say that the black and white trend is not my favorite - but just on me. I think it's too harsh for me! On everyone else it looks modern and chic. Case in point: this outfit!

I think it really depends on how you wear it. Both black and white can be a bit gross against the skin at this time of year when we are all so pale and vitamin D deficient. I tend to wear black well so having it up top works.

LOVE that coatigan on you! This is a very modern and chic outfit. Ha ha, I've never heard the word "coatigan" before but I love it! The shape is definitely what attracted me to it also. Yes, I agree, our weather is still a bit to chilly to only wear that (I guess I should have mentioned in my post that i was wearing a parka on top but took it off for the photos). :) I'm so glad I could provide a little shopping inspiration...and thank you for the super sweet shout out!!

I am really glad that I saw that sweater coat thingy (see isn't coatigan a great word?!) on you and they still had them at H&M. I seriously don't shop there enough as I get turned off by the super flimsy stuff but I need to stalk the H&M Trend section.
