I have been admiring the Toronto brand gogo mama for some time. I was first exposed via the Baby on the Hip website and then saw them at the (now defunct?) Portobello East Market. I coveted the easy to wear dresses.
They were everything that a mom needs for a mommy chic look. Easy to wear, wash and infinitely more stylish than another jeans and tee combo.
Last week I went for it and bought the Georgia Dress in deep plum. Since then I have been wearing it paired with leggings and I can’t say it enough – probably the most comfortable outfit I have aside from sweatpants or pjs.
Because the dresses are made from eco-friendly Bamboo they seem more special than a typical cotton shirt dress. Not only are the dresses locally designed but also locally made right here in Toronto.
Now that I know how comfortable and effortlessly stylish these garments really are I am craving the Persephone dress too. Even better would be spin offs of these dress designs; blouse or tops that have similar shape and drape for the post baby body!
