The past few weeks has been extra snowy with school and highway closures north and west of Toronto. Ski hills are opening and even though officially winter is still a week away it feels like it has come in like a lion!
Whether you are a ski bunny or not dressing for the weather is important! A good pair of winter boots that can handle the snow and slush is just as important in the city as snow pants are on the ski hill.
I don’t know how many times I have seen novice skiers try to go skiing in a pair of jeans. Even if you aren’t going to invest in full ski gear pick up a cheap pair of wind pants. And choose sweat pants instead of jeans.
If you are planning a ski vacation you will need to up your game. One of the things I like about ski fashion is that it is all about warmth!
Fur, down, fuzzy hats and warm mittens. Even the ski sweater is cool when you are on the slopes.
