After two weeks of feeling sick and finding out I had cellulitis, I am finally feeling more like myself and actually wearing something other than sweatpants.
When I started posting outfit pictures it was to push me out of the standard new mom wear of drapey sweaters and lounge pants. So I am actually glad to get back into the swing of things and break the bad habits that get established when we aren’t feeling our best.
What a better way to make yourself feel bright and cheery even if you aren’t quite there yet than to put on some spring clothes.
I haven’t really spent alot of time investing in Spring items, but these floral pants above from Joe Fresh were something I just had to have.
Personally I think because these pants have a grey background it allows them to be paired with more cool wintery items.
I did a couple other things to bust myself out of the “I’ve been sick” funk I was in; I coloured my hair using Garnier Olia (super impressed, blog post to come) and piled on the new Stella & Dot Spring collection items.
Outfit details; Pants, sweater & booties Joe Fresh, Coat Asos, Necklace Kimberly Stella & Dot, Bracelet Zinnia Stella & Dot.

What do you do to get yourself feeling Spring-y in the dead of Winter?

I love gray and yellow - it's one of my favorite color combos! Wearing yellow definitely reminds me of spring.
